Grades
Original white is supplied as a mix of first, second and third grade, which is how a real tannery selection looks, not a shop window. White pulgar is fourth grade: a skin with a defect, useful when the end use can hide or trim a flaw. Packs of 100 skins are the working unit in the warehouse and at customs. They make counting, palletising and restocking straightforward. A first order is often one mixed pack and, if you want to compare, one pulgar pack.
Use and export
White skin is used in apparel, linings, accessories and later dyeing at destination. We tan with traditional hand methods and a final quality check: packs do not leave without review. We export from Jorba worldwide; we work in Spanish or English.
